Daniela Astone and I will be back teaching at least two plein air painting courses in 2012. The first will be outside of Volterra, Italy in May from the 11th to the 20th, and the second will be in Pujols (a small village outside of Bordeaux, France) from the 7th to the 16th of September. Both courses will €1,900 for room, board, local transportation, instruction and all materials*.

UPDATE: The Pujols course is now full.

As always, we have intensively scouted the area to make sure we have the most picturesque possible location.

If you’re interested in more information, drop me an email at [email protected].

For my studio courses, check out the Studio 31 website.

*For our courses we supply all the materials: brushes, paints, folding palette, palette cups, palette knives, medium, turpentine, gesso-prepared panels, and a metal tripod easel. You can arrive with nothing but clothes and a toothbrush.
