My solo exhibition in Sag Harbor, NY opens today at the Grenning Gallery. You can see all the images of the paintings on their website here.
The works included in the exhibition are mainly smaller plein air landscape paintings from the last couple of years in Italy, Croatia, Russia, France, South Africa, Holland, Norway, and the US. There are also a couple of larger plein air paintings, and a few studio pieces as well.
My exhibition at the Grenning Gallery opens this Saturday, August 24th. The reception will be from 6:30 to 8pm in Sag Harbor.

I thought I should briefly mention a couple of exhibitions I have on this month. The first is a number of small sketches at Ann Long Fine Art in Charleston, SC and the exhibition webpage is here. The second is the Converge show organized by Allison Malafronte in New York. It opens this Friday and the website for the exhibition is here.
This summer I’m skipping my usual solo show. I missed half a year of painting in 2011 and wont have enough work unfortunately. I will have new work at the Haynes Galleries in Maine and with the Grenning Gallery on Long Island. In September I’ll have some work on show in London with Constantine Lindsay.
The Florence Academy of Art is having their annual alumni show this week in the stables of the Palazzo Corsini. Lots of great work on display as usual and I’ll have some pieces in the charity silent auction. The opening is Wednesday the 9th.
Constantine Lindsay will be showing my London plein air sketches as well as larger Italian paintings at his stand at Art London from the 6th to the 10th of October. The show is at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, SW3, London. You can download a pdf copy of the brochure for the show by clicking here.
