East End Paintings and Grenning Show

The opening reception was this Saturday for my annual solo show at the Grenning Gallery. There was some press for the show, including an excellent article on me in the Sag Harbor Express and a piece on Underpaintings.

For anyone in the area, you can also pick up a copy of the Spring edition of The Southhampton Review which has some of my paintings in it (including one on the cover).

I always find the boatyards very interesting. There are a lot of great views around the boatyards on Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton and the owners and managers were very friendly towards me when I was looking for places to paint.

Sag Harbor Paintings and My Grenning Gallery Solo Show

My exhibition at the Grenning Gallery opens this Saturday, August 24th. The reception will be from 6:30 to 8pm in Sag Harbor.

I’ve been painting on the East End of Long Island in the summers now for 14 years, and it’s always great to be back. This show will include the following Sag Harbor paintings from the week before the show.

Summer Plans

I’m off for New York for my solo show at the Grenning Gallery which opens on August 6th. You can download a copy of the catalog here.

I also have recent paintings at  Carteret Contemporary Art and Vision Gallery in North Carolina.

While in the US, I’ll be teaching a four day plain air workshop at the Hamptons Studio of Fine Art in Sag Harbor, NY from July 25th to the 29th.
